2008 Sportoletti Villa Fidelia; a bit of time has done wonders for this wine from Umbria. Dark purple to the rim, the nose is all about herbs and the palate adds those to sour and sweet cherries and a touch of cigar to the mix. Tannins are still a bit obvious but mellowing and to prove it my wife had 3 glasses!! I'll open the next one in 4-5 years. Very nice wine! abv of 15%
