2014 Vincent Pinot Noir Zenith Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (4/17/2018)I had been having a hard time with new world Pinot Noir lately, but this wine brought me back. I was very much taken with the black cherry and minty/earthy aromatics, and the balance was spot on. As with most new world Pinot it was not showing much in the way of tannin, but the acids gave good spine to the fruit. Overall it was refreshing, very drinkable and a happy wine!

Thanks for the note. This vintage is questionable for me but they seem to be shedding the baby fat. I think Vincent is taking Pommard clone which probably appeals to your sensibilities.
