WTN: Three Superb Roses

2017 Julia's Dazzle Rosé Horse Heaven Hills Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris
An 'orange' pinot gris, rather than a typical saignee rose, attained by extended days on the skin. Pale peach color with good acidity and more dryness than I expected (and that's good). Very nice depth of midpalate flavor too with strawberry, peach and biscuit notes Hate the genie bottle, but I'll buy more.

2017 Domaine de Pellehaut Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne Harmonie de Gascogne Rosé Rosé Blend
Unusually bright and lively with tangy acidity, a minerally core, and good balance. Someone brought it to dinner at a friend's house; don't know the price but presume fairly cheap. I'll buy if I see them.

2015 Domaine de Thulon (Famille Jambon) Beaujolais Rosé Gamay
Fresh, light coral pink color. Pleasantly dry with Sungold cherry tomato and strawberry notes and a whiff of salinity on the nose. Good length on the finish due to the additional time in bottle. Purchased recently, but apparently a back vintage someone had lying around and not currently available (I paid $8). Makes an excellent case for holding roses out a year or two.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I've never tasted their wines, but the name stuck out because I drank a delicious bottle of 1989 Pellehaut Armagnac over this past winter/spring. And lo and behold, it's the same producer who also makes wine. I guess both depend on grapes...
