WTN: Two Reds O'er the Weekend.....(short/boring)

Tried these two over the last two days:
1. Donkey&Goat MendocinoMelange Syrah (14.2%; BrokenLeg & McDowell vnyds; 2% co-frmtd Viog; 194 cs) 2008: Med.dark color w/ light bricking; rather earthy/tomatoey/MendoCnty strong blackberry/Syrah/bit peppery bit rustic/Cornas-like/sauvage slight smokey/pungent interesting fairly complex nose; lightly tart/tangy rather MendoCnty/tomatoey/spicy earthy/dusty/OV strong blackberry/blueberry/Syrah/earthy some Rhonish/peppery/Cornas-like some complex flavor w/ light smooth tannins; very long MendoCnty/tomatoey strong blackberry/blueberry/Syrah bit rustic/Cornas-like complex finish w/ light gentle tannins; no signs of drying out and probably about its peak. $18.00

Drew PinotNoir PerliVnyd/MurderRidgeBlock/MendoRidge (99 cs; 13.9%; www.DrewWines.com) Elk 2009: Med.light color w/ slight bricking; strong black cherry/PN/cherry/CherryMash bit earthy light herbal/thyme some toasty/pencilly/oak somewhat Burgundian rather complex nose; lightly tart rather earthy/Burgundian some black cherry/PN/CherryMash fairly toasty/Fr.oak/bit charred smooth/velvety complex flavor w/ light/gentle tannins; very long/lingering some black cherry/PN/herbal/thyme fairly toasty/Fr.oak/smokey/pencilly light earthy/dusty fairly complex finish w/ light smooth/gentle tannins; probably at its peak or a bit beyond; a lovely fully mature Calif PN w/ a bit of Burgundian character.
