1. As I was browsing the shelves at TheCellar in Taos, Paul recommended this Nebb to me from a producer I'd never heard of before. Located right in the heart of Borolo country. I must try some of his Barolos now.

His Barolo wines are not that much more expensive. And funny timing because this weekend I had his 2012 Barolo Lazzairasco, which I believe I bought recently for mid-$30s. Tasty but a bit warm/ripe, although somehow managed to maintain a relative elegance of structure.

I used to buy them from KLWM 15 years ago and hadn't revisited since. Probably won't top my list of producers to follow on a regular basis, but certainly good value.
