My Massican shipment arrived last week, so cracked w/ Susan:
1. Massican gaspare Dd'OC: Bianco Friuli Colli Orientali (44% Friuliano/29% RibollaGialla/27% Chard; 13.5%) P&B by Ronco Del Gnemiz/SanGiovanni al Natisone 2017: Light gold color; fairly fragrant Tokaj/floral/appley/bit peppery light stony/chalky quite pleasant nose; quite tart/tangy rather floral/appley/Tokaj/slight peppery/spicy light chalky/mineral slight earthy/flavor; long tart/tangy light/brisk/clean light floral/Tokaj/apple/pear bit chalky finish; a quite pleasant quaffable Tokaj w/ not a lot of depth or profoundity but just simply might good drinking at a good price. $26.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. gaspare is a wine that DanPetroski makes himself at Ronco Del Gnemiz in Fruli. They also make a vnyd-designate "SanJuan" Friuliano that is one of the best Friulianos I've ever had. This is not of that calibre but just simply good drink white that shouts of Friuliano.

I actually passed on that one, as I would prefer to support what he is doing with grapes in California.
