2013 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Wine Compagni Portis Sonoma Valley White Blend
Nose of pears and honey, very grenache blanc-like, with cloying RS on the super hot finish. One of those bottles that makes you go check the label for the alcohol, and get mad at yourself when you find it's 14.7%. Dumped it.

2011 Force Majeure Cabernet Sauvignon Collaboration Series Reserve Red Mountain
VERY different from the impressive bottle last August. Decanted one hour. First of all: no nose. None. Nada. Water has more smell. Some taste, but without aroma it was like drinking while having a cold. Came back to it an hour later: some nose, but mildly oxidative in flavor. I don't even know how to describe what was wrong with this bottle, except that it shouldn't have been like that. Dumped it too--$75 down the drain.

2002 DeLille Cellars Harrison Hill Yakima Valley Red Bordeaux Blend
Great nose with good aged flavors on the first glass, fading on the second. A decent drink but don't dawdle cuz time's up.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Ouch. Not exactly a stellar experience. It happens to all of us, and it always sucks!
