The new/Feb issue has an excellent article by DavidDarlington, one of the very best wine writers in the USofA, on Rieslings from the PotterVlly in MendoCnty.

It features a lot about Guinness McFadden, who sells his R to Ch.Montelena & MikeDashe. I've long felt Mike's McFadden R is one of the best in Calif.
R does well there because of the altitude giving a large di-urnal cycle. Didn't realize that Potter vlly is a 3 times the altitude of the AndersonVlly.
Anyway, worth buying the latest W&S for David's article.
