A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Ryme makes two Vermentino's from FrankMahoney's LasBrisas vnyd, deep in the Sonoma side of the Carneros. The "Hers" is made as a basic direct-to-press white, while the "His" is made w/ varying degrees of skin-contact and is a bit more serious expression of Vermentino. My experience is that "Hers" tends to put on some weight w/ age. Upon release, the "Hers" can often seem a bit lean/eviscerated. This '18 was not and was packed w/ flavor that belies its 11.2% alcohol.
