TN: 2007 Tahbilk Marsanne Museum Release Central Victoria.
Guess one of the most collectable whites from Tahbilk. 13% alc, $26 Cdn, cellared a few years, SC. Rich golden color in the glass, sweet honey on the nose, pear, floral, some pineapple. No downhill signs on entry, nutty, more pear, excellent acidity, lime. "Vibrant citrussy acidity and honeyed" from across the table, baked apple, toasted almonds. Whats not to dislike here.
TN: 2010 Grant Family Semillon Olive Hill Barossa Valley.
SC, cellared 4 yrs, 12% alc, $28 Cdn. Medium gold in color, rich nose with lemon, honey, mineral tones too. Well balanced but so so acidty. Good balance, think at its peak. Wish I knew more about Semillon from this area.
TN: 2011 Elderton Riesling Eden Valley, Barossa.
My second bottle, I remember the first was dry dry dry! Sc, $25 Cdn, patiently cellared a few yrs.
Has developed some sweetness and hint of gasolein. Lemon lime on the nose, highish acidity on entry, tangy, good length here.
