Ship Ahoy!!

TN: 2016 Lantides Mikri Kivotos Little Ark, Peloponnisos.

12.5% alc, good nat cork, blend of Assyrtiko and Malagouzia, $28 Cdn (!), cellared for one year.

Medium straw in color, nice aromatics after an hour..citrus, minerals, peach, other stone fruits, apricot for sure.
Initial entry thought is short finish, needs time to air? Stony minerality, green apple, medium acidity, " not too lively" from across the table.
Not much change on day 2, did expect more from this one though as it lacked excitement.
Food was pork scallopini in a herby cream sauce.

So not exactly the Ark of the Covenant then?

Indeed David, I expected more excitement for sure.
