2004 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
I popped this bottle to sip while watching the Masters last night (on DVR). It's my very last of the $10 Wynn's that were the best cabernet deal on the planet for many, many years. It didn't disappoint: sweet leathery black cherry with dusty old books and cedar-y spice. Drinking most excellently right now--lots of sediment, though, decant!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I still have a bunch of old black label cabs as well, and I agree, they used to be one of the best value wines available. It is amazing how long they last - I think the oldest vintage I have is the 1998.
