1998 Albert Mann Riesling Furstentum Vendanges Tardives - France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru (6/8/2019)Bought on release nearly 20 years ago, I never got around to opening a bottle. Glad I waited, as this is just gorgeous. It’s still quite rich, and has a honey coating over still clear pear fruit. Balance is perfect, and there’s nothing to suggest that it won’t hang at this level for a long time. Magnificent.

I had a great visit there in the late 90s, remember all the rabbits they had.
