I haven’t tried the ‘13 for a while, but your notes seem inline with what I’d expect from that vintage. The ‘12 and ‘13 both had ML blocked and were treated reductively up front (fully gassed at juice stage, etc). I think this leads to wines that actually oxidize more quickly and age more quickly. In other words, they are about up front enjoyment. Also, Arneis is prone to oxidation anyway.
Transversely, since the ‘14 vintage, the wine has gone through ML (picked just a touch earlier to keep acid balanced) and was not treated reductively (the juice was allowed to brown). I’m seeing that these wines go through a quick initial development (turning rather waxy after just a couple years) and then hold very steady from there forward.
