2018 Unsworth Vineyards Rosé Vancouver Island Rosé Blend
An exceptional pinot noir rose. Good pinot character, more body than the pale color indicates, balanced, yet taut and refreshing. Best out of a burgundy bowl. From the best winery on Vancouver Island (IMO).

That was always damning with faint praise - I've never had a wine from the island or the islands that was better than average. Good to hear that is improving.

I get why! Lots of weird stuff over there, we definitely had some. But this PN rose is well above average and would pass in any setting. I pretty much liked everything I had at Unsworth (nearly all were whites)--superb restaurant too.

Bring a bottle up some time and we can compare it with our other fave PN Rose, the Vieux Pin Vaila.
