2009 Kruger-Rumpf Binger Scharlachberg Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Rheinhessen (2/23/2020)Should have bought a case! Rich, ripe Spätlese that is just starting to emerge from all the baby fat that enveloped it for years. It’s still focused on tropical fruit, but there’s more of a edge, as the acidity is finally showing up on the finish. If you have it, wait another five years. This wine has a very long future.
