Yah, we picked a dozen nice yellow and gray morels a couple days ago and last nite I needed to decide on a white wine to go with them. No pb or pg and few Rieslings so went with a 2016 Hartford Court "Jennifer" Chardonnay. It was excellent and very dry with little tropical fruit notes but good pear fruit and a touch of spice with some minerality. Love those morels but I think the season is about over.

Envy you the morels! Not had any Hartford Court whites, only pinots. Sounds silly to admit it, but I also hate the winery name. I grew up in a town where all the apartment buildings had names like that.

My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
