2017 Ceritas Chardonnay Marena Sonoma Coast
Deep golden yellow with heavier texture than expected for Ceritas. But it lightened up with time in the glass, and eventually notes of pineapple and green apple started to float. There was also lemon curd and a touch of vanilla-oak in the mix. Would have shown more integration if decanted for two hours; will hold remaining bottles for that point where it all comes together, maybe summer of 2022.

No doubt it will rise to the occasion with a little time. Ceritas Chardonnay is about as close to a sure thing as there is in wine.

I agree, not worried a bit. :)
