From a library release that Dan Petroski did last fall, this is older than I would ever allowed on my own. It turns out to be a good thing that he held some, as it's a lovely expression for this blend. The mix of Tocai Friuliano (45%), Chardonnay (32%), and Ribolla Gialla (23%) has taken on a nutty patina that supplements still fresh orange fruit and fresh hay aromas. On the palate it's bright, yet showing a much broader presence that perhaps evidences the Chardonnay element. Delicious pre-dinner, with dinner, and post-dinner.

Not too surprised, David, that it was still singing. Dan's wines have a brisk/wirey acidity that allows them to go out longer than you'd expect. Think I have a couple of pre-2010's around.
