A rather misleading title for that article. That said, the guys at Bedrock are doing much of the same, including no-till (where possible), weaning vineyards off irrigation, experimenting with some different varieties (they are looking to Portuguese varieties, as they already have plenty of Carignan!), etc. They discuss a lot of their farming practices on The Bedrock Wine Conversations podcast. They devote a lot of time to farming, pretty much every episode.

It's small steps, but a lot of small steps cover a long distance.
