- 2018 Ramey Chardonnay Fort Ross - Seaview - USA, California, Sonoma County, Fort Ross - Seaview (3/24/2022)
Starts out very linear when first opened, almost to the point of austerity. Thirty minutes later there’s a greater sense of fruit, mostly in the apple and lemon range. It remains focused and mineral, but fans out on the finish to gain more depth. Never goes fat, always stays clear. If Pépière’s Clisson was a California Chardonnay it would be this wine.

Great description. Haven't been back to Costco yet....
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
