Delicious dinner in Montreal last night.
Restaurant had an extensive list of wine from Quebec, and a bit of research suggested trying Pinard & Filles Momo Pinku 2019, which was an interesting exposure. High toned gamay, screechy, 9% alcohol. I guess global warming did not arrive that year!
More pleasure with Ca de Noci Notte di Luna 2019, an excellent reminder of how delicious that wine can be. And the first time my friends had tasted skin-contact whites, so it was educational as well (in a more enjoyable way than our education into Quebec gamay).
Still, as global warming does arrive, perhaps Quebec/Canadian wines will become more and more attractive to some of us.
