2017 Ultramarine Rosé Heintz Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (11/6/2022)
After the mild disappointment of the Marquet, Laura wanted another Rosé bubbly, and this was easily at hand. Worked out great, as it received the coveted “this does not suck” endorsement from Laura. Strawberry, apple and a bit of yeasty and spicy complexity, it disappeared much too quickly to make a more detailed evaluation, but maybe that’s a good enough assessment on its own.
