2002 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett (MSR) #10 03 Found this in a BAWS during a trip to Charlotte. Full on petrol nose. Just developing some creaminess with lots of hard slate, white fruit, and pink grapefruit acidity. I’ve really liked the ’02 ZS spat and auslese from Selbach-Oster but this kab might be my fave of the bunch. Nicely balanced and utterly slurpable. If it wasnt such a pain to check my baggage I would grab a couple of bottles to take home with me.

Kabinetts come into their own faster, so not shocking it would be so good.
