- NV Eric Rodez Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs Brut - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru (1/20/2024)
Laura and I both loved this wine. We also puzzled over it for quite a while, trying to put into words what we liked about it. It was deeply flavorful and vinous, but any time we tried to grasp a particular aroma or flavor it would jump away. Certainly complex, with all the various fruit, floral, and fermentation derived elements, but also a chameleon. Fascinating.

I love it when that happens.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

It’s both fascinating and fun.
