Do We Need This?

Wine condoms??

The presumption is that the similarity to the sexual kind adds some sort of coolness aura. Does anyone have experience with the wine kind? I should think that either pumping the bottle or just shoving a cork into it would work about as well.

Actually, in a state like WA where it's legal to take an open/unfinished bottle home from a restaurant, something like what I presume this is (I could only see a picture of the packaging) does make sense if it would prevent leakage on the way home in a way a cork once removed isn't always whole or secure enough to do.
