WTN: Tiny Teldeschi Concert

2022 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Teldeschi Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (5/11/2024)
Not often I get to use the word lurid in a note, but this wine is a lurid shade of purple. It’s almost fluorescent. Yes it’s too soon to be drinking this, but I was listening to a podcast where they were discussing Dry Creek Valley, and I had to have a Teldeschi. Took two hours to come together, but then the fruit deepened, aromatics opened up, and it became that visceral expression of Zinfandel that only comes from Dry Creek. 100% satisfaction.

You mean it should be pronounced Tel-desk-ee? I knew a Dave Tel-desh-ee once, so have always pronounced it thus.
