Liked it? Loved it. Tasted thru six Copinets last week at a local wine shop, all excellent but the pours were so tiny and the crowds so thick it was impossible to really compare or take notes. That said, and maybe because of it, the depth of fruit and mineral richness of the top-of-the-line '16 Leonard really stood out, and a back-room pour of a deliriously good 2004 from the store owner's stash sealed the deal. I ordered it.
Btw, new label and retro bottle are interesting, an apparent re-branding. Also this '16 is an Extra Brut (dosage 3 g/L) where prior vintages were just Brut. CT is going to consider it the same wine regardless though to my way of thinking, it's not. Anyway, priced around $65ish, the quality of this is up there with big marquee names at two-three times the price.
