2023 Domaine Dupeuble Pere et Fils Beaujolais Rosé Gamay (Kermit Lynch Imports)
While not condoning alcohol as a crutch, yesterday something distressing happened and I needed a crutch hence I opened this bottle. Rose petals, strawberries and white pepper; fresh yet dry with perfect balance. Best served cellar cool but not cold. Greatly comforting on a bad day. In fact, so well did that work that over the course of the evening I drank the entire bottle, and I'm not going to apologize!

Sorry to hear that about your day, Jenise. I hope today goes better for you. I have enjoyed Dupeuble's Beaujolais (rouge) bottling over the years, but have no experience with the rosé. It sounds like it was just what the doctor ordered, though.

Life does happen, and wine is always there when it does.

An occasional crutch is not a bad thing. Hope today is better. Never seen the Dupeuble rose though like Mark have enjoyed the red.

If you see it, grab it. I'm going back for the rest. It's just graduating from the fun stage of rose into it's more serious adult self.
