I love Syrah. I also have a pot of chili going. Time to grab a really nice bottle of Syrah.

Hey! I'm going to roast a leg of lamb for dinner. I don't do much of that type of thing any more since everything has to be chopped up for Bob. And, of course, he can no longer drink more than a sip or two. But my brother's going to join us, so I'll have company. Maybe it's time to open an early 2000 CdP.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

2000 and 2001 are excellent now! (I'm still drinking things like 98 Donjon because I was doing barrel sample tastings when they were released and went 'Wow! and bought a lot of them (down to a case and a half of the Donjon now).

I went with a '98 Aussie and an '06 Beaucastel. Notes to follow!
