TN: 1997 Fratelli Revello Barolo Vigna Conca - this wine has lightened up a bit in the last few years and shows a nice mid ruby colour, some decent cherry and plum elements in the nose and hints of tobacco. I also detected some dark chocolate notes as it opened up. Smooth on palate and well balanced medium length finish. Still drinking very well..

What did you have with this wine? I don't have the impression you do pasta....

And I agree with David, the things I saw in the wine do mirror what we think of as claret!
