As we have Sauvignon Blanc on Fridays I thought I'd be contributing to this months theme, but a combination of travel and family visits unusually meant just one SB this month.

Johnson Estate 'Kimi' Sauvignon Blanc 2023 (Marlborough, New Zealand)

First things first. This wine isn't on the Johnson Estate website. It appears to be an 'own-label'. Johnson is the name of the owners whose most famous brand is Spy Valley.

Now to the wine:

Fresh mown grass on the nose, crisp clean tropical fruit on the palate, nice acidity, quite light bodied, only 11% ABV. Very drinkable
