Double cut pork chops (sousvide and then seared on grill), grilled ramps with a sherry vinegar dressing, farro with pear, walnuts and dill.

2023 Coudert/Clos de la Roilette Cuvee Tardive Fleurie
OK, a slight oops, thought I was opening regular Fleurie. This is obviously young but it’s still fun to drink now. Excellent black cherry fruit, some mocha, some herb and floral notes. The fruit is ripe but backed up by bracing and and gentle suave tannins. B+/A-

Some friends hosted a dinner party, we grabbed some wines and walked over the hill
Deviled eggs and vegetable shumai, followed by Korean meatballs with udon. Scallion carrot pancakes, and salad

NV Grongnet Blanc des Blancs Champagne. Pear and green apple, rye toast, good acids, slightly coarse mousse. B/B+

2001 Guy Bernard Cote-Rotie
Red fruit, bacon, menthol. Tannins resolved, a little round, could use a bit of acidic lift. Drink up B/B-

2020 Tiberio Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo
Raspberries and cranberry, herby, saline note on finish, lovely and versatile. Still strong B++

Fun night with old friends.

Oysters, scallops with capers and brown butter, asparagus in miso butter, saffron brown rice, salad
2022 Fevre Chablis
Good showing for village Chablis. Citrus, green apple, hint of oyster shell and a flinty mineral finish. Good fruit, nice acidic spine, good finish. B/B+

Chicken florentine, herb roasted potatoes, and salad
2007 Banfi Brunello di Montalcino
Eh. Ripe red plum fruit, a light kirschy note (14.5 abv), touch of ashtray on finish, this is lacking freshness. Not dead and ok in a generic red wine way, but doesn’t say Montalcino or Sangiovese to me. B-/C+

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
