Ruth Lewandowski GrunerVeltliner Stockpot Cuvee Zero RanchoCoda/RRV (11.5%; U/U; www.RuthLewandowskiWines.com) Geyserville 2022: Deeo gold/browning color w/ lots of tiny bubbles that persist quite cloudy color; strong resinous/skin-contact/phenolic slight natty/funky very slight floral/GV some dusty/earthy not very attractive nose; very tart/tangy very strong skin-contact/phenolic/resinous rather austere/tannic very slight GV/floral bit natty/funky quite unattractive flavor w/ some tannic bite; long resinous/skin-contact finish that tracks flavor; a quite unattractive GV that is dominated by the resinous/phenolic character; may age into something interesting but not a sure thing. $31.00 (KK)

1. I opened the Lewandowski first & found nothing attractive about the wine. So turned to a sure bet..a DryCreekVnyds Chard. Not a profound Chard, but certainly much more attractive. I generally like the DryCreekVnyd Chardsquite a lot.
