Without question, this is the most interesting Bordeaux variety blend wine I have had in years, maybe decades. The combination of bright, lifted fruit, and plush without being lush texture is like balls of lightning riding on a river of silk. Red fruit essence, and the slightest hint of spice carry through the velvet mid-palate, and then burst out on the finish, which is bright, mouth filling, and long as the last note of A Day in the Life.

What’s really interesting to me is that the wine is incredibly drinkable right now, but there’s also a ton of depth. Looks like Keith Levenberg also found it very drinkable now.
