Okay so yeah I sometimes go slumming at Grocery Outlet. It's not a regular habit, but it's my go-to place for buying both lamb and artichokes in a jar believe it or not, and always an entertaining shopping trip because you just never know what you're going to find. Wine is never my objective, but I can never forget finding 5 liter bottles of good WA merlot for $40 each and Grahams vintage port there for less than $20, so I usually do a quick cruise of that department. Found this one a few months back, and because it was Seghesio, a winery I go way back with....

2022 Seghesio Family Vineyards Chardonnay Sonoma County - Monterey County - San Luis Obispo California
This is gorgeous. Layered and classic with plenty of green apple and lemon fruit, light spice, bright acidity, good depth and no obvious oak. A steal for $12.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
