Tried these two wines over the last few days:
1. Dom. Carrel & Senger Jongieux Blanc AC: Vin de Savoie (11.5%; Jacquere grape; VintageImprts/Denver/CO) 2023: Light gold color w/ small bubbles that dissipate; strong mineral/chalky/stony light floral/carnations/fruity fairly attractive nose w/ good balance of mineral & fruit; rather tart/tangy/slight metallic light floral/carnations/gardenias/fruity some stony/chalky/mineral light-bodied rather brisk/savory flavor; long brisk mineral/floral finish that mimics flavor; a very attractive mineral/fruity Savoie white at a great price. $14.00 (KK)

Delmore PinotNoir HumboltCnty (12.5%; dry farmed) DarrenDelmore/PasoRobles 2024: Med.light color; quite pretty PN/cherry/bright fragrant light earthy some toasty/Fr.oak/Burgundian quite attractive/perfumed nose; fairly tart light earthy strong PN/cherry/bright some toasty/Fr.oak lightweight very pretty flavor w/ light tannins; bit of a Burgundian character to it; quite a pretty lightweight PN that should put on weight over the next few yrs. $33.50

1. DarrenDelmore is, of course, the National Marketing guy for TablasCreekVnyds. He makes a bit of wine when off from his day job. They are always well-made & interesting. The Syrahs are particularly good. This is one of his lighter Pinots but it should put on heft over the next few yrs.
