WTN:MSD and Pernand white

Thursday was grilled halibut, pappardelle with zucchini, squash blossoms, ricotta and basil oil, plus Swiss chard
2018 Rapet “Sous Fretille” Pernand-Vergelesses 1er
Always a bit cautious with 2018s, but this is not overripe at all. Pear, lemon cream, hint of hazelnut, nice bright mineral finish There a touch of oak here, but deftly done and integrated. Drinking well now. B+

Friday was grilled pork chops, with a spicy tomato salad and leftover pasta and chard.
2012 Remi Jeanniard Les Ruchots Morey St. Denis 1er Cru
Not a producer I know, no memory of buying this. Red fruit, a hint of sandalwood, juicy and straightforward. Perfectly acceptable, not at all exciting, blind likely would have guessed Bourgogne AC. B-

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.

That Pernand sounds lovely. Cost? I want to buy more white burg, but prices scare me.

Not sure what Dale paid, but Rapet is a pretty good name for value Burgundy, in both red and white. The Sous Fretille may be their best white before getting to the Corton Charlemagne, which I've never had. I think I've seen recent vintages of Sous Fretille for $75-80.
