Downtown today to pick up some Muscadet and came across a pinkie from the Chinon. https://devinewines.ca/products/#?productId=19640

read part of the Baudry empire. Nice :D

I enjoy their arthy Chinons.

I drink the occasional bottle of Baudry. Had one a few weeks ago with Salil.

Baudry's Rosé is one of our favorites, year in and year out. I also love the reds, but they take ages to come around. I'm sitting on a quite a few just hoping they mature while I can still enjoy them.

Christophe Baudry, who runs Baudry-Dutour, is a cousin to Mathieu Baudry; see https://www.thewinedoctor.com/loire/baudry_2.shtml

I own a fair amount of Baudry but, like a lot of things, it's in storage and there are a lot of competing priorities....

One thing about their Chinons - don't pop and pour, give them time to open up and shed some of the earthier aspects - 30-60 min, sometimes in my experience.

I too am a big fan of the Bernard Baudry wines. I drink the rose every year, and drink/cellar the reds (and occasionally the whites). But I don't think the Domaine de la Perriere wines (as in link) are related, different Baudrys. Oops, edited to add that Jeff already noted that.
