More dribblefurt from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Blade & Talon is the wnry in Gilroy run/owned by Nat Wong. He shares space w/ Eric Baugher there. I was turned onto Nat's wines by KenZinns who had tried them & liked them quite a lot.
The Falanghina was gifted to me by Nat and is to be released after Thanksgiving. I thought it blew away the Mastrobernardino, which is a very good Falang in its own right & reflects its SItalian upbringing.
I gather Nat's wine are natural wines but they are perfectly clean w/ no natty character evident. Despite their lower alcohols, they are packed w/ flavor & show no lean/eviscerated character.
We will try the remainder of Nat's tableau this week at my Pig+Fig tasting.
