2013 Zind Humbrecht Muscat - if this were Muskrat Love it would be closer to the version that America did than the one that Captain and Tennille did. It is 12% alcohol and is a slightly soft wine with slightly low acidity, but the usual enticing tropical fruit aromas and only a slight terminal sweetness, showing otherwise as quite dry. Pleasant wine that won't get in the way of the conversation. More a summer sipper but I came across it while trying to find something else and thought I'd try it. Many people look on this grape as producing either a summer sipper or a sweet dessert wine. This was much closer to the former.

I was unaware of a ZH non-vineyard designated Muscat. Only ever seen the Goldert, which has always been much more than a summer sipper.

Yes, this is their basic bottling and simpler than the Goldert (have some 2015 of that - must put it on my list to try!)
