1996 Le Macchiole Paleo Rosso - this red Bordeaux blend from Tuscany is 85% cab sauv, 5% cab franc and 10% sangiovese. (they switched a few years later to 100% cab franc). The wine was fairly dark and showed a nose of dark cherry with hints of cedar, and a smooth mouth feel with medium long finish. Very decent. Wish I'd had a bottle of the later version with no sangio just to compare.
