  • 2016 Ultramarine Blanc de Blancs Heintz Vineyard Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (11/27/2025)
Served with our untraditional Thanksgiving main course of lobster, this was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Bright, focused, lemony, and with a finish carved out of stone, it played to the lobster, cut through the butter, and added an extra sparkle to the Chiefs losing! It even managed to compensate for the unfortunate byproduct of the Cowboys winning.

Well, the first Thanksgiving was at Plymouth, and supposedly filled with fish and seafood, most likely abundant with lobster.

thanks for note. I finally dropped off the UM list, but the Heintz BdB was my favorite most vintages.

I’m still getting the offerings, but between price and the 2019/2020 issues I have stopped buying.
