1. Bedrock Zin MonteRossoVnyd SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty (15.0%; Plntd: 1886; www.BedrockWineCo.com) 2012: Very dark color w/ little bricking; very spicy/raspberry/Zin rather dusty/OV some peppery light pencilly/cedary/mature toasty/oak fairly complex nose; rather tart/tannic bit dried out some raspberry/peppery/Zin/spicy fairly dusty/OV light pencilly/oak some complex flavor w/ light drying tannins; long finish w/ somewhat astringent tannins; starting to dry out somewhat & not a lot of complexity; shows lots of the spicy/peppery MR character; still a good Zin but on a downhill trajectory. $nc (BSvSG)

More dicklebrik from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I was expecting a lot more from this Zin. The MR Zin is generally one of the most structured Zins from Calif. But this one was showing signs of heading downhill. Still good, but not profound.
