Tried this white last night:
1. LeSaure D'Antiche Terre Dd'OCG: Greco di Tufo (13.8%; www.DanticheTerre.It; Villa Italia Wines/South SanFrancisco/CA) Manocalzati/Avellino/Campania 2023: Light gold color w/ some tiny bubbles; rather metallic some floral/hollyhocks/perfumed talc fairly stony/mineral rather aromatic nose; quite tart/tangy fairly stony/metallic/mineral lightly floral/hollyhocks bit lean/saline rather interesting flavor; very long metallic/mineral finish that tracks flavor; a rather interesting white w/ a nice balance of minerality & floral fruit. $23.00 (SFW&S)

More greekoburp from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Greco di Tufo usually makes a rather unthrilling white w/ little aromatics. This one had some very attractive aromatics.
Ann Kraemer has Greco planted up on Shake Ridge but not sure who it goes to.

Greco is a varietal that I enjoy but rarely seek out (along with vermentino, picpoul, gros manseng, etc. but they are great refreshers in summer heat. When we visited the Languedoc, we tried several picpouls but we almost never see it over here.
