WTN: LadyHill PinotBlanc WillametteVlly '23....(short/boring

TomTierney brought this to our Carlisle tasting at Pig+Fig last night:
1. LadyHill Pinot Blanc WinklerVnyd/WillametteVlly (13.3%; www.LadyHill.com) St.Paul/OR 2023: Med.light gold color; slightly herbal/musky/Kansas haymow very aromatic/floral/gardenias quite perfumey lovely nose; quite tart/tangy quite floral/gardenias/PinotBlanc fairly rich/lush slight metallic bit herbal/Kansas hay mow very perfumed flavor; very long herbal/floral finish that tracks flavor; very much like some Zind-Humbrecht PB's that I've had; one of the best US PB's I can recall w/o the usual lean/austere character many show; quite a lovely white. $nc (TT)

More pirtleblanc from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. LadyHill is owned by 5'th generation Jerry & Elaine Owen w/ winemaker Eric Basher (or Dan Duryee). Most OR PinotBlancs tend to be on the lean/stony/austere side. This was loaded w/ ripe fruit & a real eye-opener.
They make a full range of WillametteVlly varietals, of which I'd like to try more, particularly the Syrah.
