1. I was surprised when I found this $10.00 Gascone white in at Kokomans. How bad could this be?? Well....pretty bad. Not real bad in the sense of being an offensive. Just bad in being one of the most vapid/watery wines can recall. No redeeming at features even at this price.
The Feuillet GWT came into NM from Kermit Lynch some 3 yrs ago about in the mid-$20's. I really liked the wine a lot...a classic Val d'Aosta GWT at a very fair price. So I was surprised to find it at this very cheap price at Susan's this weekend. This was obviously a close-out from the distributor to clear things out. The 3 yrs in the distributor's warehouse had not done this wine any favors.
