Had these two new wines for DinDin last night:
1. Garagisti Anonimi Di Lassasi Come Friuliano Dd'OC: Friuli (13.5%; Benvenusa/Sasalito) Tommaso Zanutini/Manzano 2023: Light gold color; very attractive floral/Friuliano/gardenias/bit musky some orange blossom/citrus slight mineral very aromatic/perfumed lovely nose; fairly tart/tangymetallic very floral/fruity/gardenias some orange blossom/citrusy fairly rich/lush slight mineral/metallic lovely flavor; very long/lingering floral/Friulano finish that mimics flavor; quite a beautiful example of Friulano w/ lovely aromatics; one of the best Friulanos that I can recall; loads of Friulanofruit w/ a slight minerality to make it interesting; a bit on pricey side for Friulano but worth the price. $32.00 KK)

More niklebert from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Vertzami is a rather rare grape native to the island of Lefkada on the Western coast of Greece. Also found on the island of Cyprus. Supposedly a rising star in the Greek varieties. Got a long ways to rise to get my attention.
