More sennlefirk from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. The clemensbusch was a new Mosel producer for me. Probably not likely to try any other of their wines.
LaBarge Vnyds was a new label to me. Founded by Pierre LaBarge who hails from a wealthy St.Louis family. Schooled at Cal Poly. Looking at the GoogleMaps, it looks roughly the location of the old Peter Cargasacchi vnyd on the Western Edge of the SRHills. The clonal selection of the Syrah suggests otherwise.
The wine shows no signs of its 8 yrs of age. So I suspect it may not age into anything interesting. But I could be wrong...it happens.
