Tried these two whites w/ Susan last night:
1. MilagroVnyds GrunerVeltliner MiddleRioGrandeVlly (12.4%; EB; www.MilagroWine.com) Corrales 2023: Light gold color; very classic GV/white pepper/floral slight carnations bit stony/mineral quite lovely nose; slightly tart rather rich/lush/bit fat strong white pepper/GV/floral/carnations light stony/earthy quite pleasant flavor; med.long floral/GV finish that tracks flavor; lots of classic GV character but slightly on the soft/porky side; reminds some of the IngridGroiss GV but doesn't have the minerality; probably the best NM GV I can recall. $29.00 (SFW&S)

2. Neumeister Straden Grauburgunder DAC: Vulkanland Steiermark (13.0%; Trocken; Rosethal Wine Merchant/NY) Weingut Neumeister/Straden/Austria 2021: Med.light gold color; rather earthy/chalky lightly floral/carnations/zinnias rather lightweight indistinguished nose; soft lush/fat/porky lightly floral/carnations rather dull lacking minerality flavor; med.short soft/fat/porky finish that tracks flavor; a splendidly dull expression of an Austrian wine; pretty dull & lacks everything; disapponting for a Rosenthal wine. [b] $29.00 (SFW&S)

More grizzerflit from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I've been really liking the Milagro NM wines. Always varietally correct. Maybe the best NM winery these days.
